Update Covid-19:
We are now open again for appointments in Shoreham.
The NHS / Government guid-lines allow us to treat again.
This means correct PPE worn by the Osteopath ( plastic apron, mask, protective visor), Osteopath washing hands before, after each treatment ( as per normal), face mask worn by practitioner and patient, hand sanitiser and hand washing by patient on entering practice, and all cleaning procedures, ( i.e. treatment couch, surfaces all wiped down after each session). Only one patient at a time is in the practice so social distancing is maintained.
I am also still doing remote /Skype on-line appointments for patients who cant travel or are high risk and may be requiring rehabilitation exercises, general advice about their symptoms and injuries, self-treatment, exercise for all ages and some nutritional guidance. There is a charge for these appointments and they are booked into the diary. However, I am still available by phone, text and email if you require any advice.
Thank you.
The Blue Door Osteopathic Practice offers a friendly, calm and relaxing environment where you will be treated both effectively and safely.Once you enter the small walled garden and come in to the practice, you immediately notice how quiet and peaceful it is.
The appointments are booked with time in mind meaning that there is only one patient here at a time. This allows patients to sit and relax after treatments if they wish to.
Treatment at the practice is suitable for all ages and conditions. The Blue Door Osteopath can support you in understanding unexplainable pain conditions by addressing the underlying causes, and will include opportunities to discuss ongoing self management to support in your recovery.
There is a new drive for off road parking on Buckingham Road (see photo information below) but there is now no off road parking available directly in front of the house. Parking is now to the left of the houses in the photo (below) and by the taller flint wall. You can only park on the left hand side driveway. You will see my A-Frame sign on the drive as it is situated behind the Bongo Mazda Camper Van. Also, there is a small sign on the flint wall explaining parking.
Please wait across the road if someone is already parked there, as they will be leaving within minutes.
Parking is also available in Gordon Road, which is the next left off Buckingham Road, before the station. Please then walk round to the side of the house to large wooden gate (in Mill Lane) and ring the intercom to be let in.
